For those of you who know me, you must know that i am OBSESSED with the show "The Bachelor/Bachelorette." Yes I know the show is old and some find it repetitive, but for me it gets better each season. Before I got married I had a lifelong goal of going on the Bachelor, but as you know, I got married before I was old enough. Did I want to go on to find love? No, I just love the show that much. Anyways, I just have to say, what was ABC thinking? I mean come on Chris Harrison!! Last season I liked Jake at first, but at the end, I thought he was very boring and couldn't stand his tucked in shirts and jeans up to his bellybutton. They had much better choices... Kiptyn or Reid or even though I hated Wes at least he would be more interesting then Jake. I am very disappointed in this decision. I wish I had enough willpower to boycott this season, but secretly I am counting down the days until it starts! January can't come soon enough! I know there are fellow fans out there... does anyone agree with me? Or am I the only one who thought Jake was boring and an awful dresser?

Ha ha! Ok, here's what I think.... I too liked Jake at first, but come on, he got a little weird. I was kind of sad when she kicked him off, but then after he came back, I was quite glad. Seriously, he was a little girly (I think the way he talked). It's fine to be a "goodie two-shoes" at times, but honestly, you don't need to broadcast it. Sometimes girls like a guy with a little edge to them. Oh and Ed? I thought he was an idiot and swear he was secretly a homo. I was rooting for Kiptyn.
Did I seriously just write all of that? I'm somewhat embarrassed, but let's be honest, it needed to be said. Now I'm going to take my lame self, and watch Vampire Diaries I have recorded. Shhh, don't tell anyone I watch that!! :)
Kirsty, I couldn't agree with you more! I totally liked him at first and then I realized he was the goofiest little geek! He's like an old man in a hot guy body. The kind of women that will want him will have to be weird too. Wow, I'm really disappointed with the Bachelor.. and a little bit with myself for being so enthusiastic about it all. But you understand... :)
as you recall my husband banned me from watching that show years ago. you sinner- i can't believe you watch it still...:) i want to see pics of the new house. and aren't you glad i warned you about needing candy for trick-or-treating?! elle needed to come to your house so she wouldn't have been so traumatized about people thinking we didn't like halloween.

Jake totally milked it last season so he could be the next Bachelor. Kiptyn would have been WAY better. Boring, awful dresser, AND whiny. But I'm still going to watch it.
